XpertDox attended the NYC Award Nights held in New York City, hosted by The Healthcare Technology Report and GrowthCap Forum. The awards night took place on March 5, 2026. Our Co-Founder and CEO, Sameer Ather, and Co-Founder and COO, Bhupesh Panwar, attended the awards ceremony to represent XpertDox and XpertCoding, the company's autonomous medical coding platform. Sameer was officially named one of the Top 25 Healthcare Technology CEOs of 2025, a recognition of the work XpertDox is driving across healthcare technology. Bhupesh joined him at the forum, where the two connected with founders and investors focused on the next phase of AI in healthcare.

The awards night also enabled the attendees to further discuss the insights shared in recent features by the publication. In another article by the Healthcare Technology Report, Sameer highlighted that while AI is a buzzword for many, for XpertDox, it is a tool for accuracy and efficiency.

"Most customers come inbound, pressed by boards and executives to find real efficiencies," Sameer noted. "The work remains unglamorous and procedural by design. XpertDox promises outcomes it is willing to put in writing: submission timing, automation rates, and denial thresholds, because trust, in healthcare, is built slowly and lost quickly."

As we celebrate these milestones, we remain focused on our broader mission: pioneering the next generation of AI in healthcare and simplifying its complexities through autonomous medical coding.

The Work Behind the Recognition

Recognition from The Healthcare Technology Report tracks with the platform work XpertDox has advanced over the past year. XpertCoding has grown in the last one year with a focused investment across six areas:

Coding Precision Backed by Multi-Engine Architecture

AI autonomous medical coding only earns trust when it can be tracked back with absolute transparency. XpertCoding's technology combines ensemble models, neural networks, symbolic reasoning, and payor guidelines so each code assignment traces cleanly back to the source note.

Revenue Cycle Acceleration

XpertDox is built keeping the reality of smaller clinics and mid-sized providers in mind. Healthcare providers and other mid-sized clinics cannot wait for long implementation cycles or afford upfront licensing costs. XpertCoding removes both barriers with a risk-free evaluation on the customer's own claims data.

Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI)

We all know the biggest challenge with AI medical coding is fragmented workflows and unstructured clinical data. No AI or software can operate with unstructured data. XpertCoding's CDI capability catches gaps and inconsistencies at the point of care, before they turn into coder queries or claim denials. This makes the life of manual coders easier, making the process more efficient and accurate. Eventually, that leads to better revenue.

Quality Metric Coding

Quality metrics tied to reimbursement are now written into most payor contracts, but many practices still track them manually or miss them altogether. XpertCoding handles Category II CPT codes as part of the standard coding workflow, so quality reporting stops being a separate step in the process.

CXO Analytics

Executives often wait weeks for month-end reports to surface issues they could have acted on in real time. XpertCoding's CXO analytics gives leadership a live operational view.

ICD and HCC Coding

Value-based contracts don't just want clinicians and doctors to note the current problems of the patient. They take into account patient history and their overall health. Chronic conditions that were once treated as background context now have to be captured and coded every year to keep RAF scores accurate. XpertCoding ensures the conditions are not missed as they directly protect risk-adjusted revenue and keeps CMS audit trails clean.

About the Event

GrowthCap Forum is an exclusive annual event attended by select growth investors, company founders, and executives. It brings together leaders shaping the future of software and AI, healthtech, fintech, and other growth sectors.

This year’s forum served as a prestigious backdrop for The Healthcare Technology Report’s annual awards ceremony, where the year’s most impactful leaders are officially recognized. Together, these two organizations created a unique ecosystem to exchange perspectives on innovation and scale. For XpertDox, the event offered a space to exchange unique perspectives on innovation, scale, and the role of AI-powered autonomous medical coding in healthcare.

"It was a fun evening in New York attending the ceremony with Bhupesh Panwar. Honored to be recognized as one of the Top Healthcare Technology CEOs of 2025 by The Healthcare Technology Report. This recognition belongs to the entire XpertDox team."

Continued Recognition

XpertDox’s leadership has been consistently recognized by The Healthcare Technology Report for contributions to the evolving healthcare technology landscape, specifically in the field of AI medical coding. As the industry continues to shift toward more practical and scalable applications of AI, XpertDox remains focused on building solutions that deliver measurable impact. By bridging the gap between clinical intent and administrative accuracy, we are setting a new standard for precision and efficiency in autonomous medical coding.
